The Big Lottery
PRESTON has been successful with its application for lottery funding to employ a part-time Development Officer. The new position will allow the group to provide understanding and support to all its members as well as offering improved and increased access to support services. Thanks to everybody who took part in the survey, filled in their questionnaires and took the time and energy to post them.

WORK begins on Preston’s artwork project in November, which is a great opportunity for us all to express our feelings about M.E. creatively—in order to show the world what it is really like! The work will involve the design and production of leaflets, posters and ideas for our main handbook.
The first session includes some great activities.
These include: Group Silk painting for our own back drop to be used for ME Awareness/ Presentations to include our famous Phoenix.
Sessions will resume in January. Dates to be arranged.
NO experience required, we will help each other - so come along and enjoy the company. Collection of ideas for our main handbook. Let your mind run riot.
We need to let people know what it is like to live with ME. We need to change public attitudes and perceptions of ME. No obligation to attend all sessions.
Problem with night driving? Transport may be arranged—lift sharing etc. Use this opportunity !!!! This is just the start— Let’s get our project off the ground .
